Nicole brings over 25 years of vocal study and performance experience to her studio. She teaches musical theatre, pop, classical, country, jazz, and folk as well as basic music theory and musicianship. Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes and are done in her home studio. Each lesson consists of an extensive warm-up, classical vocalizes, and repertoire. Students are encouraged to practice daily to expedite the assimilation of vocal concepts into muscle memory and technical execution.
Because Nicole has expertise in both voice and acting, repertoire selection and performance will be chosen and evaluated on multiple levels - voice technique and performance. Students will develop skills to approach material as singers, actors, and people who can bring their own unique takes and style to each piece of music.
